IMPORTANT NOTICE: OUTPUTS OF THIS SERVICE DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE AND MUST NOT BE RELIED UPON AS SUCH WITHOUT INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL REVIEW. USE OF THIS SERVICE DOES NOT CREATE AN ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP.
Please read these Terms carefully before using Lexpand. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1.1 Scope. These Terms apply only to online subscriptions purchased by individual legal professionals, solo practitioners, and small professional teams through our website, checkout flow, or subscription portal, using card payment or an equivalent online payment method. These Terms do not apply to enterprise customers, institutional customers, public sector bodies, invoice-based customers, Order Form customers, or customers with a separately negotiated written agreement; those customers are governed by their own agreement with Law&Company Co., Ltd.
1.2 What Lexpand is. Lexpand is an AI-powered legal professional workspace and legal workflow service. It is designed to help legal professionals and authorized professional users with legal research, drafting, document review, and related professional tasks. It is a professional tool — not a consumer product and not a legal advice service.
1.3 Who we are. Lexpand is operated by Law&Company Co., Ltd., a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Korea, with its registered office at 11-6 Beobwon-ro 4-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea ("Law&Company," "we," "us," or "our"). In some jurisdictions, we may operate through an affiliate or local representative; where that is the case, we identify this in the Country-Specific Appendix (Section 23).
1.4 Agreement structure. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy (which includes our cookie practices and marketing communications), the Country-Specific Appendix in Section 23, and the plan descriptions and payment terms presented in the checkout flow or subscription portal, form the agreement between you and us for your online subscription. Where there is a conflict relating to payment, the checkout flow or subscription portal terms govern that transaction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. The Country-Specific Appendix takes precedence over the rest of these Terms only to the extent required by mandatory local law in your jurisdiction; where mandatory local law conflicts with both, mandatory law governs, and the rest of these Terms continue to apply.
